The Process

From Start to Finish



Welcome to this new world of digital galleries. Online imagery has completely taken over and I am here for it. This process is foreign to many of my clients that have never taken professional photos before so I wanted to share the process with you all to maybe help my future clients understand exactly what to expect when booking with me.

Step 1- Booking


My booking link appears on my website, Google, Instagram and Facebook. All 4 places will bring you to the same page to book your session.

When should you book?

If you are booking to post on a specific date, unedited proofs are sent out 2-4 days after your session and my turn around time is 7-10 days after your photos have been selected.

There is a $100 rush fee for photos to be delivered in 4-5 days and $150 for 2-3 day turnaround after photo selection has taken place.

Step 2- Invoice


After you book your session, paid your deposit, and recieve your appointment confirmation, you will receive an itemized invoice that will explain the remaining balance you have, along with the due dates. Standard sessions do not have to be paid in full until the day of the session.

Step 3- Photoshoot


Majority of my sessions are 1 hour so showing up ready is highly recommended. We will take an hour's worth of photos. I will guide you in different poses and will take a variety of photos with and without props. I provide basic seating props but ask my clients to bring any specific themed props they'd like to include unless previously discussed or added on to session.

I am a punctual person and respect everyone's time and ask that my clients do the same for me.

Step 4- Proofs


Unedited proofs (non-edited photos) are sent out 2-4 days after your session. The unedited proofs are watermarked with my business name (these are not to be posted) and will be sent to the email entered during booking. You will create a favorites list using your email by tapping the heart symbol above the photos that you would like me to edit. You will then have the opportunity to purchase additional images. All details will be outlined in the email. My turn around time (time it takes to edit the images) is 7-10 days after photo selection (your favorites list is sent to me). There is a $100 rush fee for photos to be delivered in 4-5 days after photo selection has taken place.

Once your final selection is made, you will hit the "send list to photographer" option to let me know that you have made your final selection and I will begin working on the images.

Step 5- Editing


I edit my photos in the order that the photos were taken. Clients that pay the rush edit fee get bumped to the top of my list.

I extensively edit all my images to include, color correction, background cleanup, blemish removal, teeth whitening, and photo manipulation. I offer creative edits such as 3-in-1 images and photoshopped edits at additional fees that can be added on during booking.

Step 6- Gallery Delivery


Once your photos are edited, the watermark is removed from the edited photos and are yours to download using the pin code provided in your email. I provide digital images only. Through your digital gallery you will have the option to purchase prints (at an additional fee) that will be delivered to your home. I advise all clients to download the images using the code to ensure the best quality for sharing and printing. Your gallery is available to download for 14 days.
